His Chuunibyou Can’t Be Cured, also known as Kare no Chuunibyou ha Naoranai or Kachuna for short, is Tamaya Kagiya’s first visual novel title. The campaign is currently at $1,374 of its initial $8,000 goal, which will go towards finishing up the game and speeding up development time. His Chuunibyou Can’t Be Cured will also be released regardless of the campaign’s success. The campaign has various stretch goals, with the first one unlocking the creation of an 18+ edition of the game at $12,000 funding. Other stretch goals include side stories for all of the main heroines, and Japanese voice acting.
We reached out to Tamaya Kagiya about the campaign with a few questions for further clarification on the campaign, as well as what kind of sexual content they plan on including. The developer confirmed that 18+ content will only be added into the game if the first stretch goal is reached; if the campaign is unsuccessful in reaching this goal, the title will be released as an all-ages edition only. If the goal is reached, the adult edition will be sold as a separate, stand-alone game from the all-ages edition, and backers will be able to select which version they want.
Sexual content in the game will be handled from a romantic aspect with your chosen heroine. Each girl’s route will contain various sexual acts and fetishes. For example, Megumi’s route will feature impregnation, while Yui’s route will focus on BDSM and public sex. Some other sexual acts that will be featured include anal, blowjob, bondage, tit fuck, foot-job, toys, as well as standard vanilla sex.
